It's the occasion where you express your love by showing your affection.
The most memorable Valentine's Day I've ever had was the first one with my boyfriend. I will always remember that day because he made it very special and he did it from his heart. That day I wasn't expecting anything but in the evening he called and invited me to his house for dinner. I did my best to look pretty and headed over to his house. When he opened the door I was asked to close my eyes. He took my hands and brought me to his room. I felt all of those butterflies in my tummy.
"OK you can open them now" - he said.
I opened my eyes I couldn't even say anything for about 5 minutes; I just kept smiling. The whole room was decorated with candles, flowers, balloons, a little tray with some food and drinks in the middle, and stickers on the walls saying how much he love me. He was looking into my eyes while holding my hand and told why he loved me more than anything in this world. So romantic!!! Well, that night he did a lot of things for me and we spent such a great time together. I will always keep it my heart.
It is very rare to find a romantic guy nowadays but trust me, each girl is dreaming about it.
You don't have to spend a lot of money on an expensive restaurant where there is no privacy, instead try to spend this day at home or at some other place where it can be only you and your loved one.
So let's make this Valentine's Day unforgettable for you and your sweetie with these awesome ideas. See what you can do:
If you a creative person you can decorate your house the night before. Even small things make a difference.
1. Wake her up with tons of kisses and flowers.
On individual note cards, write down why you love her. Insert these cards in a small photo album or make a book and give it to her.
Hide little heart candies in her shoes, coat, car, etc. Look at her reaction when she finds them =)
2. Make her favorite breakfast and bring it in bed.
While she is reading your notes make something light and easy but if you are not into cooking at all just make coffee or tea.
3. A relaxing bubble bath!
Make sure you SET THE MOOD first! Relaxing music, candles and DON’T forget to sprinkle rose petals on top of the bubbles (Contact local Flower Shop if you want real ones – you can purchase a BAG of petals, around $5).
4. Build a cuddling fort.
There was a reason why you loved building forts as a kid: They're cool. Indulge your inner child and build one with your love using sheets and a few globes or Christmas lights.
What can you do while you are there? You can do a lot!!!
Get warmed up with a gentle massage using massage oils. When giving a sensual massage, ambiance is the key to success. Even if you are not very good at giving a massage (or so you like to think), the atmosphere is of the utmost importance. It will create an environment of relaxation and comfort which in turn will help your loved one to feel calm so they will be able to focus in on their more intimate senses.
Prepare a box with different games and have some fun. For example take 2 bags: in one put names of body-parts and in the other, verbs what to do with those body-parts. It all depends on your imagination. At the same time put your hands into different bags and grab those pieces of paper, do what it is written.
Make a handmade dice (click here to see how to make it).
Here are 12 sexy bedroom games for you.
Here are some fun FREE games that you can instantly download and print:
Head over to the library to pick up free movies for a movie marathon (or find some free movies online). For ideas, find some classics that you haven’t seen from the top 100 movies of all-time. Complete it with a blanket, popcorn, and your favorite beverages (like hot coco).
Feed each other with strawberries and whipped cream.
If you know how to play the guitar or any other instruments play a little concert for her, believe me that will mean a lot for her.
5. Invite your love for a dance.
I think dancing together for no reason is one of the most romantic things you can do. Make a playlist of meaningful songs and surprise your love.
6. Romantic Ice-Skating Date
Head to your local ice rink, it doesn’t matter if you’re not an Olympic skater, the romance is when you hold onto each other!
After that get into a Snow fight. Make it a game—whoever pelts the other with the most snowballs gets a special request granted.
Go home and make her a hot chocolate to get warm.
7. If you live in a warm place, what to do outside?
Head over to localhikes.com and find a trail near you and get hiking. This is a great outdoor date that often facilitates great conversations. Find interesting places and take pictures of each other. Order food from a take-out restaurant and have a picnic at some quiet beautiful place.
Go to the beach if there is one near you.
If you have access to the roof top then surprise your love with a romantic dinner on the rooftop and try to prepare it yourself.
8. Give her a small and meaningful gift.
Fill a large box with helium balloons and special gifts for Valentine’s Day.
9. Romantic Carriage Ride Date.
You can create a romantic Valentine’s date by doing a simple online search to find horse-drawn carriage rides near you! Be sure to bring a blanket for cuddling and hot cocoa or champagne!
10. If you have a long-distance relationship.
Mail her a plane ticket! If you don't live alone book a hotel room so you can enjoy each other's company. Lay roses all over the bed, get the nice robes, champagne and fruits ready. You can use any of other previous ideas.
If you are far away from each other and there is no way to meet up then send her a text massage early morning with lots of words of love. Deliver her flowers, giant fuzzy heart with chocolate inside and a handmade card.
Have fun on February 14, and remember: Love is not meant to be given and received on just Valentine’s Day. Instead, it’s to be practiced every single day of the entire life.
